Mexican graphic communicator with experience in the execution of graphic design projects, web design and digital products, as well as web development.
With studies in Graphic Communication and Library and Information Science, both at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, since my incursion into the digital world in 1999 I have explored design trends, development and the importance of web content, implementing design techniques focused on the attention to standards and best practices, which has allowed me to disseminate the semantic structure and accessibility, participating in the evolution of web design towards specialization and the birth of new disciplines, such as User Experience Design (UX design). ) and the User Interface Design (UI Design).
With 23 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work for companies, agencies, government agencies and institutions in the execution of brand identity, UX/UI design, front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) and complete websites, in plain HTML, with style frameworks such as Bootstrap or custom dynamic sites made in WordPress using Elementor Pro, custom post types, custom fields and advanced queries– or with no-code platforms such as Webflow.
I also have experience in project administration -planning, documentation, management and implementation-, in the coordination of work teams; as well as in the planning and production of editorial and digital marketing strategies for the web and social media channels.
As a freelancer, during the COVID-19 pandemic I have carried out projects for direct clients and collaborating remotely in the design and development of digital products and marketing campaigns for agencies in Mexico and other countries: Funky Business, Back to Blank and EA Tech in Mexico; Founders Workshop in Phoenix, Arizona; Water on Mars Agency in Parma, Italy; and for the Peruvian agency La Feria Digital, with clients in Peru and Ecuador.
With XDesign Mexico, I designed and programmed the responsive web interfaces of various developments for their integration into the Agency’s proprietary content management system, participating in projects for clients such as Grupo Bimbo, Corporativo Alsea, Grupo DESC and its Kuo and Dine divisions, as well as the corporate Cencor and its group of companies dedicated to the development of infrastructure for financial markets inside and outside of Mexico.
Direct clients include the National Academy of Architecture of Mexico; the Editorial Group SM in Mexico City and in São Paulo, Brazil; AM Queretaro newspaper, located in Queretaro, Mexico; MAGI Analytics and Intelligence Platform based in Maryland, United States; Flash ACT, Project of the National Institutes of Culture of the European Union carried out in collaboration with the Goethe Institute Mexico and the French Institute of Latin America in Mexico; as well the French Embassy in Malaysia.
